Are you a Home Business "Wannabe"?
Too many people have no clue what it takes to succeed in a Home Based business. Here are some questions you should ask yourself before even think about starting your own business.
1. Can you spend a couple of hours each day to work your business? No matter what you have heard before about 2-5 hours a week, it's a lie!
If you are new to Internet or business in general, you don't know what tools to use or how and where to advertise. And the worst thing of them all; You don't have relationships. So be prepared to work hard for your business!
2. How much money are you willing to invest in your business? It's a fact that most people want as much as possible for free, and when it comes to make money on the Internet, people tend to think it's the law. Let's take a look at the offline world for a while.
Imagine a plumber who decides to start his own business. He probably have to work 10-12 hours everyday and investing thousands of dollars before he sees his customer base increasing.
So why should business on the Net be any different? You probably don't have to spend that much time and money, but be aware of that it takes a lot more than $25 and an opportunity that promise you no recruiting, no advertising and no work!
3. Are you willing to pick an opportunity and stay with it? This seems pretty obvious, but it's not!
To be able to sell any of your products, you need to advertise. And when you start to advertise your business, you will be exposed to dozens of "Hot Opportunities" each and everyday.
It is tempting to jump over to a new business, you are bombarded with screenshots of pay checks and testimonials. It may looks like everyone else is making money, except you!
Remember that usually it is your marketing technique that is wrong, and not the home business opportunity you joined. Try some different advertising methods, and always track what you are doing.
I hope I didn't scare you off with this article. My only intention is to tell you that you have to work a little to have some success. Nothing in life is for free!
One advice in the end; Remember that you are not selling an opportunity. You are actually selling a solution to a problem your customer has. Keep that in mind, and your road will be a little bit easier!
